Country garden

This project is situated on a windy hillside in Vaud, with owners who travel frequently and wouldn’t describe themselves as having green thumbs.  The challenge was to make a drought-resistant, “lock up and leave” garden, that would blend seamlessly into the landscape.  A sloping gravel garden full of indigenous plants and a native prairie enclosing a much smaller lawn is the perfect solution.  The landscaping team from Mise-en-scène créations executed the design perfectly.
